TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TIDE AND TULLE DESIGNER DRESS HIRE
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Tide and Tulle Designer Dress Hire. By renting a dress from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
SECURITY DEPOSITS
Tide and Tulle Designer Dress Hire requires a security deposit for all rentals. This one-time fee will capture your card details at checkout. We will charge your card only for direct violations related to the hired garment. Any fees related to late returns, damage, or loss will also be charged to the card on file. We will not dispatch any rental dress until the security deposit has been paid.
Tide and Tulle is not liable for any delays caused by late security deposits. Refunds or exchanges will not be offered for missed deposit requests. If the garment is not returned or is damaged beyond repair, the card stored at the time of rental will be charged the full retail price of the dress.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers must immediately notify Tide and Tulle of any damage with accompanying photos. You should avoid stains from perfume, spray tan, or drinks, and keep the garment in your possession for the entire rental period. Alterations to the garment are strictly prohibited.
Garments must be returned in the prepaid express return satchel provided. Returns should be made between 10 AM and 3 PM (Tuesday – Friday) or Saturday between 9 AM and 1pm on the last day of the rental period. Returns outside T&T trading hours must be agreed upon by T&T prior to hire.
LATE FEES
Late returns are subject to a standardized late fee of $30 per day, charged automatically to the card on file. If your rental ends over a weekend, you must return the dress by 3 PM the following business day.
Late fees will be capped at 14 days or the retail price of the dress, whichever is greater. After 14 days, your card will be charged for any remaining amounts.
TERMS OF SERVICE
By using this site, you are contracting with Tide and Tulle Designer Dress Hire. You agree to comply with these Terms and pay all amounts due in clear funds. All rental fees are non-refundable once paid. Customers have a 24-hour cancellation period from the time of purchase to request an exchange or credit. Any changes requested within 3 days of the rental date cannot be guaranteed.
DAMAGES
If a garment is damaged or not returned, you will be charged the retail price for replacement. If repair costs are lower than the retail price, you will be charged the lower amount.
FITTING APPOINTMENTS
A non-refundable fee of $30 per person for fitting appointments is payable at the time of booking and is redeemable towards dress hire. If no hire occurs at the fitting appointment, the $30 fee may be credited to be used within 3 months. Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit their $30 booking fee. If you would like to hire a dress you have tried on in your initial fitting at a later date, you will not be required to pay another $30 fitting fee to hire. In this case you will only be required to call T&T directly to place your hire booking.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Customers are advised to be mindful when using products that may stain. If a garment cannot be re-hired due to staining, you will be charged a cleaning fee and/or the retail price. Any disputes regarding the product or service must be reported immediately. After the garment has been worn or the safety tag removed, the right to dispute is forfeited.
By renting from Tide and Tulle, you consent to receive marketing emails. You can opt out at any time.
